A Greenwork task force is not a list of technicians: it is a closed crew with its own lead, its own means and its own documentation, ready to take your site induction and go up the turbine.

  • Team leader as single point of contact for your site or wind farm manager: daily planning, work report and document control.
  • GWO-trained technicians with experience on the site's platform; electrical technicians and qualified rope-access technicians where the scope requires them.
  • Vehicles and calibrated tooling with certificates: torque wrenches, generator alignment kits, measuring equipment and the campaign's consumables.
  • Full PPE and inspected descent and rescue kits, with a rescue plan adapted to the turbine.

An external crew only adds value if it enters the site without friction: complete documentation before day one, the client's induction, the OEM's permits to work and lock-out procedures, and reporting your manager can use directly.

How we work

From a campaign on paper to a crew working on site

Mobilising a crew is not about finding technicians: it is about having them trained, documented and on site with their own tools on the day they are needed. Most of the delay in a campaign is lost in paperwork, not in the work itself.

Scope

Technology, number of turbines, type of work — preventive rounds, retrofits, punch list, cabling, rope access —, location and dates. That sets the size of the crew and the profile of each technician.

Documentation

Health and safety, contractor vetting, medical checks, valid GWO training and insurance. Cleared before a single flight is booked: this is where most mobilisations get stuck.

Logistics

Flights, visas, accommodation, vehicles, calibrated tools and PPE. The crew arrives with its own kit and does not depend on the site lending it anything.

Integration

The crew works inside your organisation, the ISP’s or the OEM’s, to your procedures and your daily report, with a team leader as the single point of contact.

Handover

Work sheet per turbine and per day, punch list of whatever is still open, and documentary close-out of the campaign.

What clients ask before hiring a task force

What exactly is a wind task force?
A complete crew of GWO-trained wind technicians with a team leader, vehicles, calibrated tooling and full PPE, mobilised within days to reinforce the OEM's, the EPC contractor's or the owner's organisation on a specific campaign: punch list and turbine handover, cabling, retrofits, lifeline and service-lift certification, vertical cleaning, installation completion or preservation. The crew works to the client's procedures, schedule and HSE plan and reports to the client's site or wind farm manager.
How quickly can you mobilise a crew?
Usually within working days. From Cidones (Soria, Spain) we cover Spain, Portugal, France and Morocco; from Santiago de Chile we cover Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and the rest of Latin America. The exact lead time depends on scope, site-access documentation and logistics (visas, flights, accommodation) and is fixed in the proposal. See the coverage table.
Which turbine platforms do you work on?
Our team has worked on more than ten platforms: Nordex Delta 4000 (N149, N163), Siemens Gamesa (SG132, SG145, G132, G145, G97, G114, G5X, G9X), Goldwind (GW87, GW136), Vestas (V90, V100, V110, V112, V136), Senvion/Repower MM92, NEG Micon, Acciona AW3000, Envision EN110 and Alstom ECO 80. For a new platform we run prior training on the OEM's documentation before the first intervention.
How does the crew integrate into our procedures, HSE plan and contractor coordination?
Before mobilisation we upload each technician's HSE and contractor-coordination documentation: GWO training, medical fitness, PPE and tooling certificates. The crew takes the site's safety induction and works under the client's permit-to-work, lock-out and rescue procedures, within our integrated quality, safety and environmental management system.
What does the crew include apart from the technicians?
A team leader, vehicles, calibrated tooling with certificates (torque wrenches, generator alignment kits, measuring equipment), full PPE and inspected descent and rescue kits, plus a daily work report. Where the campaign requires it, we add qualified rope-access technicians, electrical technicians, a quality inspector, a site manager or a UAS pilot.
Can you work for the OEM on a wind farm under construction or in warranty?
Yes, and it is the most common case. We have acted as a task force for punch-list, cabling, retrofit and turbine-handover campaigns on wind farms under construction and in warranty in Chile and Peru, such as Cabo Leones and Duna Huambos (case pages in Spanish), and we have provided site managers and quality inspectors at Punta Lomitas, Tchama, Calama and La Estrella. How is a task force priced?
There are no published rates. Tell us the scope, technology, number of turbines, location and dates; we reply within one working hour, send an initial proposal within 24 working hours and, after a free site visit or kick-off meeting, a closed proposal per campaign with crew, duration, deliverables and mobilisation lead time within 7-10 days.
Do you carry out rope access and blade repair within a task force?
Yes. We can add qualified rope-access technicians for vertical cleaning of towers, tower sections and blades, blade repair, hub fibre lowering or logo installation, as we have done at Atacama, Renaico 2, Cabo Leones, San Pedro and several wind farms in the Dominican Republic.
