Wind task force · Reinforcement crews
A complete crew working on your site within days, not months
GWO-trained technicians with a team leader, vehicles, calibrated tooling and full PPE, integrated into your procedures, your HSE plan and your contractor coordination. For OEMs, EPC contractors and asset owners who need to close a punch-list, cabling, retrofit, lifeline or vertical-cleaning campaign on schedule. Greenwork Technology was founded in 2015; its team has worked on more than 50 wind farms and factories in 13 countries.
Who it is for
When qualified hands are short and the deadline will not move
A task force does not replace your organisation: it reinforces it. We work inside the OEM's, the EPC contractor's or the owner's structure, to their planning and their reporting, and we leave when the campaign is closed.
Turbine manufacturers (OEM)
Reinforcement during construction and warranty: punch-list and turbine-handover campaigns, cabling, fleet-wide retrofits, installation completion, lifeline and service-lift certification, preservation of idle turbines and prototype follow-up.
EPC contractors and constructors
Crews to reach the milestone: mechanical and electrical completion after erection, turbine cabling, service-lift installation and certification, lifelines and anchor points, vertical cleaning of tower sections and towers before acceptance.
Owners, IPPs and utilities
When the maintenance provider cannot keep up or the campaign is running late: preventive service, torque checks, generator alignment, retrofits, vertical cleaning, blade repair and an end-of-warranty task force to document defects before the warranty closes.
What is included
They arrive equipped and start work on day one
A Greenwork task force is not a list of technicians: it is a closed crew with its own lead, its own means and its own documentation, ready to take your site induction and go up the turbine.
- Team leader as single point of contact for your site or wind farm manager: daily planning, work report and document control.
- GWO-trained technicians with experience on the site's platform; electrical technicians and qualified rope-access technicians where the scope requires them.
- Vehicles and calibrated tooling with certificates: torque wrenches, generator alignment kits, measuring equipment and the campaign's consumables.
- Full PPE and inspected descent and rescue kits, with a rescue plan adapted to the turbine.
- HSE and contractor-coordination documentation in place before mobilisation: training, medical fitness, PPE, tooling certificates and insurance.
- Integration into your procedures: permits to work, lock-out and isolation, OEM checklists, document control and reporting in your format.

Vertical cleaning
Rope-access cleaning of towers, tower sections and blades, with logo installation, before acceptance or as part of maintenance.
Installation completion and preservation
Mechanical and electrical completion after erection, and preservation of idle turbines awaiting commissioning.
Site manager and quality inspector
Site management on the client's behalf and installation quality control, with prototype follow-up in the factory and on site.

Profiles
The profiles that make up a task force and their training
Each campaign combines the profiles it needs: from a crew of GWO technicians with a team leader to a site manager or quality inspector working on the client's behalf.
| Profile | Training and qualification | Typical task-force duties | References |
|---|---|---|---|
| GWO wind technician | GWO Basic Safety Training (working at heights, first aid, manual handling, fire awareness) and platform-specific training | Punch list, TN retrofits, torque checks, preservation, turbine handover, rescue equipment inspection | Atacama, Alena, Los Olmos, Mesamávida |
| Electrical technician | GWO training and the electrical qualification required by the regulations of each country | Turbine cabling, electrical completion, generator alignment, anti-static retrofit | Llanos del Viento, Tchama, Los Olmos, Polche Sur |
| Rope-access and blade technician | GWO plus rope-access and blade-repair qualification | Vertical cleaning of towers, tower sections and blades; blade repair; hub and nacelle fibre; logos | Atacama, Renaico 2, Cabo Leones, San Pedro, Larimar |
| Team leader | GWO, occupational health and safety training and experience on the platform | Crew coordination, liaison with the client's manager, daily report, document control | Every campaign |
| Site manager | Experience on wind construction sites, contractor management, HSE and document control | Site management on the client's behalf, planning, milestone tracking and construction contract follow-up | Punta Lomitas, Tchama, Calama, La Estrella |
| Quality inspector | Installation and component quality control, OEM protocols | Component inspection in factory, port and on site; prototype follow-up; installation supervision; punch list | Tianjin factory, Cabo Leones, Duna Huambos, Costa Rica |

Training and qualifications are documented before mobilisation, in whichever contractor-coordination format your organisation uses. More in company and safety and quality (Spanish).
Safety and integration
We work to your rules, within our management system
An external crew only adds value if it enters the site without friction: complete documentation before day one, the client's induction, the OEM's permits to work and lock-out procedures, and reporting your manager can use directly.
- Integrated management system for quality, safety and the environment, with an integrated policy and our own procedures for work at height, rescue and lock-out.
- HSE and contractor coordination: the client's coordination platform, task risk assessments, permits to work and site induction.
- Document control: OEM checklists, photographic record, punch-list and turbine-handover certificates.
- Reporting: daily report from the team leader, progress per turbine and documentary close-out of the campaign.
Full PPE and inspected rescue kits on every campaign
How we work
From a campaign on paper to a crew working on site
Mobilising a crew is not about finding technicians: it is about having them trained, documented and on site with their own tools on the day they are needed. Most of the delay in a campaign is lost in paperwork, not in the work itself.
Scope
Technology, number of turbines, type of work — preventive rounds, retrofits, punch list, cabling, rope access —, location and dates. That sets the size of the crew and the profile of each technician.
Documentation
Health and safety, contractor vetting, medical checks, valid GWO training and insurance. Cleared before a single flight is booked: this is where most mobilisations get stuck.
Logistics
Flights, visas, accommodation, vehicles, calibrated tools and PPE. The crew arrives with its own kit and does not depend on the site lending it anything.
Integration
The crew works inside your organisation, the ISP’s or the OEM’s, to your procedures and your daily report, with a team leader as the single point of contact.
Handover
Work sheet per turbine and per day, punch list of whatever is still open, and documentary close-out of the campaign.
