On wind sites since 2010, as a company since 2015

Greenwork Technology S.L.U. was founded in 2015 in Cidones (Soria, Spain) and has since extended its services to Latin America through Greenwork Technology SpA in Santiago de Chile. The team behind it has been installing, supervising, inspecting and maintaining wind turbines since 2010. This is the trail, year by year.

Greenwork Technology S.L.U. covers Europe and North Africa from Soria; Greenwork Technology SpA, our Chilean subsidiary, covers Latin America from Santiago. Factories and ports anywhere are quoted per project. Lead times are indicative: the firm lead time goes in your proposal and depends on scope, site-access documentation and logistics.

Spain and Portugal

Spain has 32.9 GW of wind capacity, 22,433 turbines and 9.77 GW that are more than 20 years old; Soria alone has 2,402 MW. Our head office and the 24/7 on-call service for contracted farms are in Cidones (Soria), with task force crews mobilised in working days for campaigns, outages and retrofits across the Iberian Peninsula.

Latin America from Santiago

Greenwork Technology SpA (Tobalaba 155, Providencia, Santiago) is our base for Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean: installation, site management and quality inspection, maintenance and retrofits, rope access and lifeline and lift certification, integrated in the organisation of the owner, the EPC contractor or the OEM.

Factories and ports, worldwide

Component inspection and prototype follow-up wherever your turbines are built or shipped: Nordex and Martifer factories and the ports of Santander and Lumbier in Europe, the Tianjin factory in China (G145 prototype, 2019) and the G4X prototype at Cabo Leones. Quality control before the component leaves, not after it is up-tower.

When the campaign is closing in or a blade cannot wait for a crane, we mobilise the crew from Cidones or Santiago de Chile and fix the lead time in the proposal.

The same crews that have installed, supervised and maintained wind farms on 4 continents, available as reinforcement: vehicles, calibrated tooling and PPE for preventive campaigns, planned outages, major component exchange, mass retrofits, punch lists and machine handover. They work inside your organisation, the EPC contractor's or the OEM's, as at Cabo Leones and Duna Huambos.

Blade, tower and nacelle work without a crane or platform

When the inspection report flags damage, do not wait for a crane: qualified rope-access technicians repair blades by category (1-5), leading-edge protection (LEP) and lightning receptors (LPS), and lower hub fibreglass by rope, as at San Pedro. They also clean towers, blades and tower sections in Atacama, Renaico 2 and across the Dominican Republic, and install logos at height. Fewer hours of downtime per machine.

How we work

The same sequence on every project on the map

The country, the technology and the scope change from one job to the next. The order of work does not.

Survey

We walk the site turbine by turbine: access roads and crane pads, external condition of tower and blades, alarm history, maintenance already carried out and the state of the critical components.

Diagnosis

Findings are ranked by risk: what compromises safety, what is costing production, what can wait for the next shutdown and what should be grouped so nobody climbs the same turbine twice.

Work plan

Scope turbine by turbine, means of access — ropes, crane, platform, drone —, spare parts, crew and weather window. On blades the window rules: wind to hang the ropes and temperature for the resin to cure.

Execution

To the OEM procedure, with health-and-safety and contractor documentation cleared before we enter, calibrated tools and a team leader on site. Every turbine is closed with its own work sheet.

Handover and data

Report per turbine with before-and-after photographs, punch list of whatever is still open, and the data kept so the next campaign can be compared with this one instead of starting from scratch.
